Harrison Ford can't remember Ryan Gosling's name - and it's hilarious

On the top of the aforementioned, Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch's score gives the film a rhythm that keeps you entranced, while the vastness and richness of its set-designs mean you're constantly moving your gaze to try and take in as much as possible.

In Blade Runner 2049, Harrison Ford passes the torch to someone whose name he thinks might be Ryan Gosling.

Matt Singer at ScreenCrush said, "My God, what a handsome movie this is". K's discovery leads him on quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for thirty years. The movie is adapted from Stacy Schiff's best-selling book that tells the story of the Egyptian female ruler as a shrewd strategist that reshaped the contours of the ancient world against the backdrop of political and sexual intrigue.

Deadline Hollywood first reported the news. "Everyone involved in this imposing enterprise has clearly dug deep to be both true to the original and come up with sharp ideas to create something more than a retread".

Will any of these characters show up in Blade Runner 2049?

"While watching Blade Runner 2049, I kept thinking about the first time I saw the original Blade Runner". Everything works together, thoughtfully, intricately and beautifully. Denis Villeneuve has allowed himself a luxurious 2 hours, 44 minutes to revisit the Ridley Scott cult classic, but not a frame or beat is extraneous or out of place. This short prequel "Blade Runner Black Out 2022" will instead travel further back in the past, as it illustrates an ongoing public outrage and attacks on the replicants, but which eventually learns to fight back. "My god, I can't believe I'm saying this, but Blade Runner 2049 makes Blade Runner a better movie".
