Assassin's Creed Origin DLC Details Revealed

Today, Ubisoft revealed details of Assassin's Creed Origins post-launch content, including the season pass and free add-on content available to all players. The first expansion will be released in January 2018. It's selling a $40 season pass for the game which will provide players with full access to all of the DLC content. Bayek will need to explore a mystical new realm and discover the root of the curse that has brought these creatures to life. But they're also dipping back into their reserve of family-friendly properties and will also launch new versions of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune in November. This includes an exclusive weapon, free in-game credits, new outfits, and more. The trailer also lists all of the free DLC coming post-launch, which includes things like the Horde mode, and the educational Discovery Tour.

DLC 1 - The Hidden Ones: This story-driven expansion builds upon the growth of the Brotherhood, taking players years after the events of Assassin's Creed Origins as they clash with an occupying Roman force in a new region. "The Curse of the Pharaohs" expansion will be released in March 2018.

500 Helix Credits and an exclusive rare weapon, the Calamity Blade - Both available at launch.

Alongside these, those with the season pass will get the Roman Centurion and Horus packs, with special outfits, shields, weapons and mounts, coming in November 2017. Photo Mode also allows the players to turn off "Assassin's Creed Origins" on-screen displays or status updates so that they can capture a better view. The first Trial of the Gods event will be available 15 days after the launch of the game.

Players who bought the basic "Assassin's Creed Origins" will get all the free updates, modes, and in-game activities.


Finally, players will be able to complete daily quests to unlock a variety of mysterious loot and rewards at The Nomad's Bazaar.

Far Cry 5 isn't out until early 2018, but you will be able to play it later this month on the PS4 Pro console at Armageddon. The Horde Mode is set in a Gladiator Arena where players can challenge themselves and fight endless waves of enemies.

Plus, if you've already pre-ordered the Gold Edition or are planning on investing in the season pass, next year's DLC packs look like satisfying additions rather than a few cursory hours.

Assassin's Creed Origins will be released on October 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
