Demi Lovato shares trailer for YouTube documentary 'Simply Complicated'

A new trailer unveiled on Wednesday shows the the 25-year-old songstress reflecting on some of her most troubled times including an incident when she punched one of her backing dancers in 2010.

(Radio.com) Demi Lovato has shared the trailer for her new documentary, Simply Complicated, that's set to debut on October 17 on YouTube.

At the start of the trailer, Demi says to the camera, "I actually had anxiety over this interview".

'I went on like a bender for like two months, where I was using daily, ' she continues.

"One thing I'll never stop doing is being honest".


In a trip down memory lane, Demi Lovato reminisced about Joe Jonas and pinpointed the exact moment she fell in love with him. It was this that led the people around her to think she was on a "road to suicide".

"I'm on a journey to discover what it's like to be free of all demons", she also says in the film, which hits YouTube on October 17.

But Lovato says she's been sober for almost five and a half years.

"When I'm comfortable in my own skin, I feel confident". But I don't owe anybody anything.' She wrote.
