Jose Mourinho's reaction to Roberto Martinez playing Romelu Lukaku for Belgium

We may cry with the process that leads to the injuries but we don't cry with the injuries.

Lukaku, who already has seven Premier League goals this season, missed Belgium's World Cup qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday with an ankle problem.

"It wouldn't be the right example to my players to prepare the Liverpool game in one way and then to prepare for next week's trip to Huddersfield in a different way", he added.

Jose Mourinho could not hide his anger at Roberto Martinez's handling of Manchester United top scorer, Romelu Lukaku, in Belgium's World Cup clash with Cyprus. We don't cry with injuries.

Mourinho refused to blame worldwide action for leaving United a man short, adding: "Not just global teams, we don't only have injuries in worldwide teams". With Martinez declaring that Lukaku is a 100 percent fit to start, Mourinho will certainly hope that the injury gods don't conspire against him with Marouane Fellaini out for 3 weeks with a knee injury.

The former Everton midfielder has been in impressive form so far this season, scoring four times in his first eight games, including a brace in the 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace. "It's an opportunity for another one and we trust them".

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United owe their success this season to two players according to Gerry Francis, who says that the signings they made in the summer have changed them as a team. One player is not playing, another one plays. "We have our objectives for the season, we know where we want to go and how we have to go".

Both Mourinho and Salah will meet again on October 14 when Liverpool hosts Manchester United in the Premier League. But heading into their clash with Cyprus on Tuesday, Mourinho was hoping Martinez didn't play Lukaku - especially with their crunch match against Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime.
