Overwatch's Halloween Event Underway, Full-Length Trailer Released

Based on the Summer Games event, Classic Halloween Terror skins could cost as little as 1,000 credits.

The Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 event begins later today, and will wrap up on November 2.

Players will also get another chance to tackle Junkenstein's Revenge, Overwatch's PvE mode.

Blizzard has announced that Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 is live and all of the new skins have been revealed.

For those who care more about playing the game than playing dress-up with its cast, a new Endless Mode has been added to the Junkenstein's Revenge game type introducing during last year's Halloween event.

There are also over 50 new seasonal items including new Legendary skins: Dracula Reaper, Van Helsing McCree, Cultist Zenyatta, Totally 80's Zarya, Viking Torbjorn, Dragon Symmetra, Corsair Ana, and Jiangshi Mei.

The leaked skins from earlier in the week have been proven to be accurate. Originally featuring only four selectable heroes (McCree, Hanzo, Ana and Soldier 76), players can now choose from an expanded pool of characters: Ana, Genji, Hanzo, McCree, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Widowmaker and Zenyatta. Last year's event replaced all in-game loot boxes with Halloween-inspired jack-o'-lanterns. (For skins, mind you - we got enough junk food.) You can buy these in the game now, in case you want to stock up! They're discounted from their typical 3x credit price down to typical prices, so if you didn't get the legendaries like Junkenstein (a must-have) previous year, they're now cheaper!

You can check out all the new, leaked and returning Overwatch Halloween 2017 skins in the gallery above.
