Rose McGowan Speaks Out About Arrest Warrant For Drug Charges

Items taken from the actress' personal belongings during a January 20 flight tested positive for narcotics, according to police.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an arrest warrant has been issued for the Charmed actress for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Police say the items tested positive for narcotics and Rose is wanted to appear in a Virginia court.

McGowan - who revealed earlier this month that she was allegedly raped by Weinstein - said she considered the offer, but countered with $6 million.

On Sunday, she told the New York Times, through a lawyer, that "someone close to Mr. Weinstein" offered her $1 million if she signed a nondisclosure agreement.

The initial Times piece suggested McGowan reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein following an incident in a hotel room during the 1997 Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

Speaking at the Women's Convention in Detroit on Friday, McGowan talked about her life after the alleged assault by the former movie mogul.

MGowan has responded angrily to the arrest warrant, tweeting on Monday (local time): "Are they trying to silence me?" I have been slut-shamed.

She said that she turned down the offer, explaining: 'I don't want your money, that would make me feel disgusting'. I have been maligned and you know what?

Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Weinstein.

McGowan claimed she sat at the far end of a couch as Weinstein sat in a separate chair during a brief business meeting.
