Taylor Swift to Launch 'The Swift Life' App

Taylor Swift to Launch 'The Swift Life' App

The heat around her single "Look What You Made Me Do" and the briefly revived Katy Perry feud has cooled off in a fall with, to put it mildly, a lot else going on. The artist has teamed up with Glu to launch a new app called The Swift Life. But Taylor Swift is still on the promo circuit, preparing to release her new album, Reputation on November 10. Cue a 30-second video of various iPhone screens that show Swift interacting with her fans via posts, videos, and announcements. We're talking about a businessperson who incentivized merch sales by pairing them with Ticketmaster "boosts" for #VerifiedFans, but we're also talking about a musician who already spends what must be hours per day watching her fans' Instagram Stories and engaging with their Tumblr posts. "We look forward to its worldwide launch later this year", Glu Mobile President and CEO Nick Earl said in a statement.

And in case you somehow forgot, since she's only released two, deeply mediocre songs (both of which have forced me to replay the first half of Speak Now to remember where she came from), Taylor Swift's Reputation is out in a little less than a month, on November 10. Get ready to live more of the Swift Life with Taylor Swift. Users will have access to exclusive T. Swift content, including pictures, videos, and some pretty badass looking Taymojis (she's coming for you, Kim K).

As you may have noticed, The Swift Life focuses primarily on letting T-Swift fans connect with Taylor and each other through message boards, quizzes, etc. And it's on the house.
