Thor Ragnarok premiere: Big stars grace the event

Thor: Ragnarok will be the first of a three-part story arc for the green goliath that will start with Thor: Ragnarok and end with the fourth Avengers film. Hence The Marvel team has come up with a smart workaround.

Although the Hulk may not have the opportunity to successfully bust into theaters under his own moniker any time soon, we can at least look forward to seeing some interesting growth and character progression in the MCU for the foreseeable future. In a recent interview with Cinemablend, Ruffalo revealed the plan that he along with Kevin Feige had etched together. "They still think that's what I do".

Audiences will get to see the character of Hulk being built in Thor: Ragnarok. Along with Thor, the hero was entirely absent from Captain America: Civil War, having flown off into the sunset as Sad Hulk at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron. So it was really interesting to me. But as far as solo films go, rights to the Hulk are still something of a tricky issue, and understandably a sensitive subject for Ruffalo, seeing as how Universal technically owns the character. The 48-year-old accessorised the ensemble with a necklace featuring light green jewels and dark green velvet high heels. So he has the same syntax, he has the same world view, and so it was fun.

Marvel Studios has a long history of allowing early reactions to their films, never acting like they want to hide their finished products, and Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok is proving to be no exception. Celebrities, including Chris Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, and Cate Blanchett joined the hilarity at the world premiere of Thor: Ragnarok as the stars hammed it up on the red carpet of the Gold Coast-made film.
