Conor McGregor Absolutely Lost It With Referee At Dublin Bellator Event

This isn't the first time he's caused a scene at a fight.

And last month he made a public apology after he was caught on camera using a homophobic slur while supporting his sparring partner Lobov at a UFC event.

Chaos erupted during Bellator 187 in Dublin Friday night and Conor McGregor was right at the centre of it.

With the two embracing, referee Marc Goddard moved to divide them.

After the fight when McGregor went over to Ward, Goddard pulled him away from the fighter.

For the second time in less than a month, Conor McGregor and referee Marc Goddard had issues with each other during an worldwide fight card. Hopping the rail, entering the cage, laying his hands on an official, nearly accidentally inflicting more damage upon a hurt and prone peer... it wasn't McGregor's finest hour, for sure.

It is not immediately known what disciplinary action, if any, will come from this considering that McGregor wasn't a licensed cornerman and he put his hands on a referee.

UFC President Dana White has set a precedent for this sort of thing, even though having it happen in a rival promotion is pretty unheard of. McGregor has been fined in the past for unruly behaviour at press conferences. However, that fight was completely overshadowed by McGregor, who appeared cageside to shout instructions at his teammate along with fellow SBG man Artem Lobov.
