He says Ms Warner threatened that he was "never going to work again" and told him she "knows people".

Platt alleged that Warner seemed to get angrier on the ride and things escalated after he got lost when she told him to follow a route that was different from the Global Positioning System directions.

Five minutes later, Platt called 911 and began recording as he waited for police to respond. Although criminal charges have not been filed, her behavior is contrary to this office's core principle of integrity, and it will not be tolerated.

The incident happened last Friday night when Warner, who admitted to drinking a bit too much, called for an Uber to take her back home from a pub.

Platt said he's used to driving passengers who are drunk, so he forgives Warner, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. You or me?' " Platt told ABC.

The Dallas Morning News reported that, in an interview, the Uber driver alleged that Warner "slapped his shoulder and repeatedly berated him", and added that Warner could not be reached for comment. Jesus Christ, you're a f--- idiot in a stupid f-- hat. She says that she won't get out on a side street, and mocks him. But she refuses to accept that, claiming that he was "recklessly keeping" her from where she was going. Platt said he declined to press charges once officers arrived. It was insane... She can't treat people like that just because I'm not a doctor or a lawyer or someone she hangs around.

"I cringe whenever I hear or think about the things that I said that night. She became more and more irate", Platt told Good Morning America. "I just want to go home".

'I said, "Should I make a left up here?' and she refused to answer me," explained Platt.

Contacted by HuffPost on Monday, a spokesperson for Dallas police said, "We're still trying to gather information about this case".

Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner was sacked Monday over the Friday night incident. Warner spoke Tuesday about the incident, saying she is sorry for what was said and that she was in the wrong.

District Attorney Faith Johnson announced Monday afternoon that the 32-year-old prosecutor was terminated from her position in the office's crime against children unit. People endorsed her for skills including litigation, legal research, and courts. Warner's Facebook page has been deleted.

Frizell said her decision to stand by Warner was not political but rather to offer support to someone she described as an "excellent prosecutor". But the law enforcement official simply asked him if he "was good" and when Platt reluctantly confirmed that he was, Warner left with the officer in his auto.

In audio of the incident, the woman's voice was heard saying, "I think this might be kidnapping right now, actually".
