Destiny 2 Xbox One X and PS 4 Pro updates coming

Now a couple of months after the game's initial launch on consoles, Bungie has finally revealed how it plans to enhance Destiny 2 on Xbox One X.

Destiny 2 will get a patch to update the game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X. The update will come out on December 5th, and introduce HDR lighting and adaptive 4K resolution for both consoles. Bungie noted that Destiny 2 would run at adaptive 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro but did not mention adaptive resolution (also known as dynamic resolution) when talking about the Xbox One X. We released a PS4 Pro patch for launch previous year and continued to improve the game over the course of 2017, so the Pro version represents a big upgrade over the original at launch.

Walmart's 2017 Black Friday catalog popped up online today and it has quite a few great deals for people interested in jumping into the PS4 or Xbox One.

"We've seen a lot of questions about whether or not Destiny 2 would scale to meet the potential of new hardware", said Bungie.

Destiny 2 will receive an update on December 5, alongside the release of the first expansion, Curse of Osiris. If you were wondering whether it will indeed look better on Xbox One X as opposed to PlayStation 4 Pro, then the answer is yes.

In other Destiny 2 news, clan members in Destiny 2 will be able to enjoy a Double XP Weekend with the first Clarion Call next week, starting 10 AM Pacific on November 17th. If not, don't worry, solo player.

Destiny 2 is young but is already growing with the times. If you aren't in a clan, this would be a flawless time to join one.
