Former WCVB anchor Heather Unruh claims Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her son

A former Boston news anchor says Kevin Spacey stuck his hand down the trousers of her 18-year-old straight son and grabbed his genitals at a club on Nantucket Island last year. But whether he was over 21 or not, Kevin Spacey has no right to sexually assault him.

Heather Unruh told reporters Wednesday that the actor stuck his hand down her son's trousers and grabbed his genitals while the two of them were at the Club Car Restaurant in July 2016.

Unruh said she has long wanted to say something about what Spacey allegedly did to her son.

"There was no consent", she said, describing her son's account of Spacey having brought him "drink after drink" at the Club Car Restaurant in Nantucket.

She said her son was "scared", and that it wasn't until the recent wave of allegations against Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood heavyweights that she posted a cryptic Twitter message accusing Spacey of misconduct.

Heather Unrah and her lawyer, Mitchell Garabedian held a press conference on Wednesday to claim that Spacey had assaulted her son; Unrah was joined by her daughter. London police are reportedly investigating Spacey for a 2008 sexual assault. An unidentified woman apparently saw Unruh's son after the assault and encouraged him to "run away".

Unruh added that she wants to see Spacey go to prison.

She said her son has made a statement to police.

"It harmed him and it can not be undone", she said.

"Shame on you for what you did to my son", Unruh said. He told Kevin Spacey that he was of legal age. The torrent of allegations has prompted Netflix to halt production of the sixth season of House of Cards and to boot the actor from the drama.

Spacey has said he doesn't remember the encounter but apologized if such "drunken behavior" occurred. Rapp said he and Spacy had been starring in plays on Broadway at the time.

Harry Dreyfuss, the son of actor Richard Dreyfuss, also has said that Spacey groped him in 2008 when he was 18 while his father was rehearsing a play at Spacey's London apartment.
