Google Pixel 2 XL goes up for sale in India

After launching the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL (review) in India on October 27th, Google had announced that while Google Pixel 2 would be made available starting November 1st, the Pixel 2 XL would go on sale from November 15th. It will soon release an update that will solve this problem, only the timing of the release of the patch have not been established.

Google Pixel 2 XL also includes Google Lens-a new set of visual features that help you learn more about the world around you and get things done. So, you can enjoy Android R on the Pixel 2 smartphones until 2020. While the Pixel 2 XL was launched in Black and, Black and White (Panda) color options.

A large number of early Pixel 2 buyers filed their complaints at Google and it resulted in the tech giant rushing to find a fix. Furthermore, Google is also offering free unlimited storage in Google Photos, and the phone is IP67 certified as well. Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders will also get an additional five percent discount on the phones.

Google has introduced several launch offers for consumers planning to buy Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Google Pixel 2 XL sports a new 6-inch QHD+ (2880×1440) pOLED display, which has an 18:9 aspect ratio.


The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

For photography, it is mounted with 12.2MP rear camera with LED flash, OIS, EIS, f/1.8 aperture, Laser and Dual pixel phase detection, 4K video recording capability.

The smartphone has a 12MP camera on the back and an 8MP front camera.

A 3,520mAh battery keeps the device going.

This phone is backed by a full 2-year warranty and offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC. Both the Pixel and the Pixel 2 XL are high-end phones that aim to compete with the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X.
