IPhone 'i' bug fixed in iOS 11.1.1 update

iOS 11.1.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad. Other minor bugs are being addressed as well, according to MacRumors. Go into Settings General Software Update on your iPhone or iPad to begin the update process. Turns out that version introduced another set of squirrely issues, which has led Apple to release iOS 11.1.1 today.

Several people have taken to Apple's support forum in order to alert the company to an issue surrounding Global Positioning System; according to the users, their location appears to drift off from where they actually are.

Apple Pay Cash is available on iOS 11.2, now available as a public beta 2 for developers and testers.

In a support document, Apple recommended using the iOS's text-replacement feature to work around the bug. However, the highlight of the public beta 2 is the Apple Pay Cash feature.

First announced in June, Apple is launching direct, person-to-person payments via the Messages app with the Apple Pay Cash beta, TechCrunch reports. Apple already provided a step-by-step guide to temporarily disable the autocorrect bug, but a software update is also expected to be released soon.

To request cash from your iPhone, open a conversation in Messages tap the App Store icon tap the Apple Pay icon enter an amount add an optional message tap the upwards arrow to send the request.
