Moto X4 with dual cameras, Alexa support launched in India

Motorola today launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto X4 in India.

Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. You also get either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage; plus, that storage can be further expanded with memory cards up to 2TB in size.

The smartphone sports 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. However, unlike the G5S Plus, which comes with a regular sensor and secondary sensor exclusively dedicated to capturing depth data, the Moto X4 comes with a primary 12MP sensor (f/2.0) and a secondary 8MP 120 degree ultra-wide angle sensor (f/2.2).

The smartphone comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a dedicated LED flash.

Motorola has added a sizable 3,000mAh battery into the Moto X4, which we hope should last a day on a single charge.

Alternatively, you can use the virtual shutter button displayed on the screen. The phone also benefits from being IP68 certified which allows it to be water and dust resistant.

Moto X4 comes with Type-C USB port, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5 with A2DP, LE, aptX, and EDR support, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Dual nano-SIM slots for connectivity.

Moto X4 comes with a streamlined Android operating system with pre-installed Google applications and a clutter-free user interface. Building on this strong brand heritage, the new moto X4 is a smartphone crafted to perfection with a precision-crafted premium glass and metal design, which makes it as handsome as it is strong.

One of the highlights of the Moto X4 would surely be the dual rear cameras.

The rear camera also comes with a dual-LED flash for extreme low-light situations and can shoot videos in 4K. The smartphone is available in two colour options, Super Black and Sterling Blue. Motorola is coming up with Moto X4 after the mid range Moto G5S series.

Are you planning to buy the Moto X4? Dual Autofocus Pixel technology also means a faster focus in low light so you get professional quality pictures, and the wide angle lens lets you capture even more.

The 3GB/32GB version of the Moto X4 will set buyers back Rs 20999 and the 4GB/64GB by Rs 22999. This battery supports Turbo Charging that is touted to charge the smartphone in just 15 minutes giving it up to 6 hours of usage time.
