Olivier Giroud insists he has no plans to leave Arsenal in January

Gunners striker Olivier Giroud is a doubt for the game after suffering a thigh injury in France's win over Wales, where he scored to become his country's seventh highest scorer.

Giroud, 31, was the subject of transfer rumours during the summer window as Alexandre Lacazette arrived at the Emirates and interest from Everton pointed toward a potential move away from Arsenal.

The French global is yet to start a Premier League game this season, with Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette both preferred up front.

The striker suffered a thigh strain while on global duty with France, having to be substituted late on after scoring the second in the 2-0 win over Wales on Friday.

"I am not questioning myself about my future", said Giroud, as quoted by The Telegraph. "I am happy at Arsenal and I am fine with the decision to stay because I want to", said the Frenchman, via the Daily Mail.

"I am thinking that the story between the club and myself was not over and not finished".

"They're a great team with so many options so it was a tough task for us tonight", Arsenal midfielder Ramsey told BBC Sport . Giroud is very much part of Didier Deschamps plans ahead of next summer's competition, and the forward is inspiring to his form of two years ago in the build-up to the Euro 2016 Finals. It's my 29th goal for France so I still have to score one more goal to reach Jean-Pierre Papin who was one of my favourite players.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud insists he has no regrets over his decision to stay at the Premier League club even though he's yet to make a Premier League start this season and has scored just once in 10 substitute appearances. That's most important for me.
