Portland area Sunday forecast: Rain, rain, rain

Portland area Sunday forecast: Rain, rain, rain

Tonight: Gradual clearing with fog developing late. Valley locations will see mostly rain today, then mixing with some snow tonight, little to no accumulation is expected. We will see increasing clouds through the day and some showers could come through late in the evening to the overnight hours. Showers move out Saturday morning but temperatures will only reach the 40's for highs. Until then, temperatures will warm up to the mid to upper 70's under mostly sunny skies by Friday with winds out of the south/southwest.

We will see a nice blend of mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for the rest of the work week. Monday night will be mostly cloudy, and the clouds will stick around for Tuesday, as will the high temperature in the low 40s.

Wednesday temperatures will increase slightly with a high in the mid-50s and a low in the low 40s, but a jacket will still be necessary to stay warm.

A weak boundary passing through the region makes skies partly cloudy on Thursday and it is seasonable in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44.
