Ubisoft adds another Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed crossover hint

It said the latest instalment of its open world Assassin's Creed game series, "Assassin's Creed Origins", released at the end of October, had sold twice as many copies as its predecessor "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" during the first 10 days since its premiere. But it was "too soon" to raise the guidance for full-year sales of 1.7 billion euros as first half sales amounted to only 466 million euros.

The article notes that 35% of the sales were digital while the rest were physical. Someone who made a decision to put the Assassin's Creed Origins map size to the test apparently took three hours to cross Ptolemaic Egypt at the average walking pace.

Garneau is the CEO of Abstergo Industries, who first appeared in "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag". "The game's initial sell-through units are trending two times higher than Syndicate, confirming the franchise's strong comeback".

Switch title Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle also did well, helping Nintendo's console to a 19 per cent share of all game sales in its launch quarter, ahead of Xbox One on 20 per cent.

For early 2018, the publisher planning the release of Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2. N fact, on PC it's already sold almost three-fifths in 10 days of what Assassin's Creed: Syndicate sold in two years, so I can see why Ubisoft is happy that the game didn't bomb... so far.
