Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets Rs. 1000 price cut for three days

It will start at Rs 8,999 though the 4GB RAM version is available at Rs 11,999.

Xiaomi's popular selling Redmi Note 4 has got a permanent price cut in India.

The Redmi Note 4 (2GB) model price remains the same as earlier while the REdmi Note 4 (3GB) now costs Rs 9,999 (Earlier Rs 10,999) and the Redmi Note 4 (4GB) now costs Rs 11,999. That's incidentally the same price as the version with 2GB of RAM, which will likely be discontinued in the market. Furthermore, the latest price drop makes the Redmi Note 4 a more competitive option against models like Moto G5, Nokia 5, and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). If you want to own a Redmi Note 4, then you shouldn't miss this 3-day sale. However, there is a catch to this "exchange offer". The smartphone comes in three variants based on RAM and in-built storage. The 3 GB variant of the smartphone is now priced at Rs 9,999 as compared to Rs 10,999.

As far as specifications Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. On the camera front, the Note 4 has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front camera. Redmi Note 4 is available in Gold, Grey and Silver colour options. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI MiUi 9 on the top, which offers a feature like the dual app, multi-window, and support for third-party themes. The discount is still there for the 4 GB + 32 GB variant on Flipkart. The e-commerce portal is offering the best exchange value of Rs 6,500 when you upgrade to a new phone in 2018, provided it is in a working condition and not damaged. On the front, the Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5-megapixel camera.
