Another new weapon has been confirmed for PUBG's desert map

So far, PUBG has featured only one map for its battle royale matches where players must collect armor, weapons, and food in order to be the last one standing.

According to PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Greene, they had gotten the game to run at 60fps on the Xbox One X, but could only squeeze 30-40fps out of the standard console. Not to be outdone, PUBG Corp partner Nvidia - who have provided sponsorship and GeForce video cards for several PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds events/tournaments, exclusively debuted another new weapon on their official blog.

In a message posted on the game's official website,"PUBG" developers expressed their excitement in revealing details about the map. The Win94 rifle was recently revealed and will be exclusive to Miramar, so don't expect to see it on the Erangel map.

In contrast to the lush fields and forests offered by the island of Erangel, Miramar will render barren desert terrain and dense urban areas. For the full raft of new screenshots, check out the Steam announcement page. The new desert map is called Miramar, and it's ready for its first batch of contestants. Ahead of the game's launch, the team behind the gamer are showcasing what kinds of exclusive gear Xbox players will have access to.

Miramar will be available during the final test round before PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds hits version 1.0, which is planned for later this month. When the next major Test Server update launches, sometime after December 7th, the new desert map and the R45 will be included, along with vaulting, other tweaks, and new vehicles.
