Apple to Launch Cheaper 9.7-Inch iPad in 2018

Apple to Launch Cheaper 9.7-Inch iPad in 2018

Apple has been aggressively pushing its iPad range with cheaper prices on the regular variant and major yearly updates for the iPad Pro.

The news of cheapest iPad may sound like a great news, but it is still not confirmed whether from either Apple or manufacturer and is based on a speculative leak. They say the move is aimed to be more competitive against first tier tablet players like Samsung Electronics, Amazon, Huawei, and Lenovo.

The upcoming iPad should allow Apple to maintain the current quarterly tablet shipments approximately 10 million units. His debut is expected in the second quarter of 2018. This might, in turn, revive the sales of the iPad, which have been falling since 2014. Analysts have also predicted in the past that these markets are the future for Apple products, which is why a cheaper iPad next year could attract more consumers in these markets.

It is expected to be priced at Rs 16,700 which is even lower than the current 9.7-inch iPad available in the market. But one will have to wait and see if a cheaper iPad will bring anything new to the table. Selling iPad at a lower price will help the brand reach out to the industrial and service sectors.

Apple is planning to launch its most affordable 9.7-inch iPad in 2018, according to a new report. This distinction will provide users a better decision-making power regarding the kind of iPad they want to go for.
