Asus ZenFone Live gets another price cut, now available for Rs.7999

Later, the smartphone received a price and was available at Rs.8,999. The smartphone with model number ZB501 was launched at Rs 9,999 in May and will now be available for Rs 7,999 after an interim price cut brought the retail price down to Rs 8,999.

Asus India has announced a reduction in price for the ZenFone Live. There's a BeautyLive application on the handset that lets you stream live to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube while applying a beautification filter. The livestreaming app, the BeautyLive app, is capable of removing blemishes in real-time. It bears a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a Bluelight filter for eye protection and 2.5D curved glass. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel camera with a 1.4-micron pixel sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 82-degree wide angle lens, and a soft-light LED flash. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 2GB of RAM. It also supports expanding storage up to 128GB using a microSD card. Both the front as well as rear cameras support the feature, so you can even switch between the two when going live.

The smartphone is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.

Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. The battery is rated at 2,650 mAh.
