Bright | Official Trailer 3 [HD] | Netflix

Netflix has released and new and final trailer for the upcoming original film Bright. We've also got some choice orc-cop banter between LAPD officer Ward (Smith) and his partner, Jakoby (Joel Edgerton).

Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Together, the two must navigate their own personal differences while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the future of the world as they know it.

The new trailer shows Bright displaying shades of some very different cinematic elements - it has comedy, valiant cop drama, fantasy, action, and even romance. Smith nearly seems to be hamming it up, and it'll be interesting to see how Ayer attempts to navigate the balance between comedy and gritty cop drama in a way that makes the stakes feel real. David Ayer, who also directed Suicide Squad, got complete creative control while the making of the movie. Will folks opt to stay home over the holidays and watch Bright instead of venturing to the crowded theaters?

Plenty more "Bright" stars, including Noomi Rapace and Joel Edgerton, were joined by three scary, imposing orc Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos in feting the film.

But what this new trailer really concerns itself with is giving us a little more about the Elves of Bright, including Noomi Rapace's cryptic elven "priestess" that we've only really seen glimpses of before.

"Bright" may not be hitting theaters as a traditional release, but numerous film's stars turned out to see the movie the old-fashioned way at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood on Wednesday night.
