Corey Feldman's 1993 tapes about sexual abuse have been found

Corey Feldman's 1993 tapes about sexual abuse have been found

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office reportedly has found missing audio files from 1993 naming sexual predators in Hollywood.

The Sheriff's Office, however, denied those claims until Wednesday and maintained they had no records of Feldman revealing such information, until now.

The Sheriff's Office initially denied Feldman's claims but have now confirmed they have located the audio of what Feldman was referring to.

Among those audio recordings was an interview with Feldman, which has now been handed over to the Los Angeles Police Department, the sheriff's office said. "Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release".

In October, Feldman appeared on "Today" and told Matt Lauer (who has since been fired over his own sexual misconduct scandal) that he gave the Santa Barbara authorities names. "Our records do not indicate that he named any suspects". At the time the show aired, the office said they had no record of Feldman's accusations.

The Goonies star has claimed that he was abused during the early years of his career and launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise money to create a documentary to expose the alleged pedophilia in Hollywood.

"If anyone wants to go back to 1993 when I was interviewed by the Santa Barbara Police Department, I sat down and I gave them the names", Feldman said on the "Today" show.

A source told the New York Daily News of C.K., "He looked like a guy who'd been caught [masturbating] in front of women", and described the comedian and his friend as looking "like they're going to a wake".

Dr. Oz, however, said that his legal team uncovered a long criminal past on Grissom, including a conviction for child molestation years ago.

In an interview on NBC's "Today" show on October 30, Feldman said he had revealed names of men who had allegedly sexually assaulted him as a child actor during an interview with police in 1993.

On Twitter, Feldman celebrated this new news, saying that it was time for the LAPD to re-open the case against the men he says abused him.

Feldman also named former child talent manager and convicted sex offender Marty Weiss in a separate interview with Megyn Kelly.

Corey is responding to claims from Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office that they have located a copy of his 1993 interview.
