DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant ejected after on-court altercation

Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant was irked with the officials after he was tossed late in Friday night's 133-112 rout of the Magic.

Cousins scored 19 points with 11 rebounds, seven assists, five steals, three blocks and three 3-pointers before he was ejected from the game alongside the Golden State forward with 1:14 remaining in the game. Moments later, both players were ejected, and teammates and coaches had to intervene to separate the two. Things had been brewing between the two throughout the entire game.

This is a unusual trend for Durant, who has never been known to have a short fuse on the court and has teammates who are much more suited for the brash shit-talker role. "I can't let anyone take me off my game".

The Warriors star spoke to the media about the incident and said that players never have any intention of hurting one another when you see them in these heated exchanges.

"I'm not going to fight nobody", Durant told reporters after about the ejection, his third this season.

Kerr after Monday's game said his team needs to maintain its composure and not get reactionary to adverse situations. We said what we had to say and moved on. "I mean we got in each other's faces but that's just how it is. But yeah, we're going to definitely talk about it the next couple days". Here, it looks like Cousins almost head butts Durant. The Warriors rallied to beat the Pelicans on Monday night.
