Devil May Cry HD Collection Announced For PS4, Xbox One and PC

The original Devil May Cry was the brainchild of Hideki Kamiya, who then worked on Bayonetta.

If you've never played any of the Devil May Cry games in the past and always wanted to, you'll be able to in early 2018.

Featuring three games, silky smooth 60fps gameplay, and a wide variety of enemies, weapons and styles to experiment with, Devil May Cry HD Collection is the ideal compilation for those looking to get their stylish combat fix.

A Devil May Cry HD Collection including the same three games was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012. The Devil May Cry HD Collection announcement comes as detailed rumors of a fifth game in the mainline series are in the works. It set a new standard in stylish action genre. It remains one of the low point for the series even today.

Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a Devil May Cry HD Collection to the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC next year on March 13. The bundle will hit retail and digital storefronts for $29.99.

In addition to bringing together the three titles for the first time on current-gen consoles, the collection will also feature "silky smooth 60fps gameplay" to complement the games' appearance on the updated hardware compared to their original debut on the PS2.
