Devin Booker Carried Off the Court With Groin Injury

As VanVleet crossed halfcourt, Booker grabbed his groin area in pain.

Booker was carried off the floor with 2:40 remaining in the contest and, shortly after the game went final in Toronto, the Suns released an update concerning his injury.

Booker has come into his own after being selected 13th in the 2015 Draft. He has scored 38 and 46 points in his previous two games and is averaging 24.5 points per game. While Tyler Ulis, Mike James and Troy Daniels figure to see more action, none of them bring the high ceiling and offensive explosiveness that Booker does on a nightly basis.

Devin Booker #1 of the Phoenix Suns injures himself and leaves the court early during the second half of an National Basketball Association game against the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre on December 5, 2017 in Toronto, Canada.

From a Philadelphia fan perspective, watching Booker connect on 17 of 32 field goals, including 5 of 8 from three-point range, was beyond frustrating since the Suns shooting guard seemed to single-handedly defeat the Sixers on his own.

They'll just be far less entertaining for the next few weeks.
