Google Tackles KRACK With December's Android Bulletin

The Flipkart Big Shopping Days 2017 sale will commence from December 7 and will run till 9 December.

To elaborate, the Google Pixel 2 now retails for Rs 64,000 for the 64 GB variant.

Google Pixel 2 is getting its first major discount since its launch in October in India. Under Flipkart's offer, you get a flat cash discount of Rs 11,001 during the Big Billion Days sale.

We won't know if that is the case until they begin rolling out the OTA update for 8.1, but Google did just announce the Android, Pixel, and Nexus security bulletin for this month. Bringing the price of Google's 2017 flagship down to Rs. 39999 for the 64 GB variant.

For those unaware, the Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio, a water and dust resistant aluminium unibody, a 12.2MP rear-camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP front snapper.

The fingerprint sensor sits at the back of the device but, this time around the "glass window" is smaller. It also gets Laser + Dual-Pixel Phase detection.


Pretty recently, Google has also started putting out a separate patch for Nexus and Pixel devices - which concentrates on specific vulnerabilities and issues with those devices.

Android 8.1 is an incremental maintenance release of Android Oreo.

Google has chose to go for a single camera setup similar to last year's Pixel phones. Google has introduced new features in the camera department like the addition of AR.

Pixel 2 XL (64GB)-$22.91 per month for 24 months.

For a quick overview of the specifications, the Google Pixel 2 is manufactured by HTC. The Pixel 2 XL uses both OIS and EIS simultaneously for better clarity and stable images and videos.
