Here's How Much Omarosa Manigault Newman is Worth

A former contestant on the first season of "The Apprentice", Trump's former reality TV show, Manigault Newman had always been unpopular with several senior West Wing officials, including senior adviser and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner and White House chief of staff John Kelly.

But considering Omarosa tackily tried to take wedding pictures in the White House, said Trump's adversaries would eventually kneel before him and generally acted like a cantankerous Negro, the slander is oh so real right now.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Manigault Newman's resignation is effective January 20, one year since Trump's inauguration.

"We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service", Sanders added.

Manigault Newman, whose official title is Assistant to the President and Director of Communications of the Office of Public Liaison, was ridiculed on Twitter for signing the letter as "The Honorable Omarosa Manigault".

She featured in the reality show's first season where she was pegged as the "villain" and was sacked in an awkward and teary meeting where Mr Trump said "life is full of problems". The White House says she resigned, but other reports said she was sacked by General Kelly.

Our sources in Omarosa's camp say she also didn't appreciate Trump beefing with Rep. Frederica Wilson, or bungling a call with an African-American Gold Star widow.

The White House insisted Newman resigned issued a statement Wednesday morning, saying that Manigault Newman "resigned yesterday to pursue other opportunities". This impression was cemented in November, when Manigault Newman allowed Elaina Plott, reporting for the Daily Beast, to follow her around for part of her day at the White House.

The details of Manigault Newman's departure remain murky. She is worth an estimated $3.5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Her departure comes as the Trump administration is reeling from the defeat of Judge Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate race by Doug Jones. In 2004, after her first firing on the show, she told NBC News that she was axed because she was the strongest player.

"Thank you Omarosa for your service!" The word is a General Kelly had it and got rid of her.

CBS's Major Garrett reports Newman was sacked on Tuesday and Kelly gave her until January 20 to clear out.

Omarosa was one of his highest profile African-American, female supporters and one of the few black women in Trump's West Wing. White House aides announced earlier this month that Dina Powell, Trump's deputy national security adviser, plans to leave after the President's first year in office.
