Huawei Nova 2s Launched- Price & Specifications

Huawei launched its Nova 2S smartphone at an event in China. There has been a lot of rumors, leaks, and reports related to the phone and now it has finally launched.

Huawei, one of the first OEMs to unveil a smartphone powered by Android Oreo out of the box, has just started rolling out the same Oreo treat to its older handsets. Similar to the Huawei Mate 9, the update also installs the new EMUI 8.0 skin on top of Oreo, but included are also several Huawei-based features. There are two camera sensors of the phone, one is above the display and the other is a front-facing fingerprint sensor at the lower end of the display.


The new Huawei Nova 2s smartphone sports a 6 Inches of full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 1080×2160 pixels of screen resolution. Another special edition namely Yixing Zhang Nova 2s will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Fast charging is done by the Huawei SuperCharge feature that can juice up the battery to 50% within half an hour. The phone also features an LED flash light on both the sides, front and back besides the cameras. The company has priced the device at 2999 yuan for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 3399 yuan for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version. The device is available in Black, Gray, Red, Blue and Rose Gold color options. The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup on the rear with 12MP+20MP Combo, sporting OIS, 2X Optical Zoom, etc. In terms of connectivity the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C. Recently, Huawei's sub-brand Honor launched its dual camera smartphone Honor 7X in India at a starting price tag of Rs 12,999.
