Invisible Box Challenge: Latest Trend Taking Over Internet. Tried It Yet?

The new trend, aptly termed the "Invisible Box Challenge", has been around for a while, but has only recently turned into a full-fledged internet obsession.

Ariel Olivar from Manvel High School in Texas posted a video on Twitter of her performing a lovely "invisible box" trick, appearing to levitate as she steps over the non-existent box. Forget planking, cinnamon eating, ice-bucket pouring, mannequin standing and bottle flipping: December 2017 is all about pretending to step on to an invisible box. Some people were close, like Maley Moak's friend Maggie.

While a small minority seem to have effortlessly mastered the trick, others fail hilariously, with some tripping over their own feet and others just falling straight over. The cheer leader stepped on an "invisible box" and hopped over it. A football player at Anderson University in IN posted a video of how to do it back in August.

"People around my school just started retweeting it and I thought it would only go as far as throughout my school, but through the night it just get going, my phone kept blowing up", Olivar said, after explaining the trick to the trick.

'The technique, if you want to make it look like (her video), is to bring the other leg higher than the other as if you are actually stepping over a box'.

"You'll notice [the] body rotates towards the leg on the "step" as well. I don't think it's hard to try but if you set it as a challenge you will probably want to train for a bit".
