Lane Kiffin 'Would Love to Play Bama' After Conference USA Championship Win

When it comes to play calling, there aren't many in the country (if anyone) who are better than Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin.

In his postgame press conference talking about bowl games after FAU's win over North Texas, Kiffin said the fans were chanting "We want Bama".

The North Texas Mean Green are ranked 20 on offense, averaging 469.7 yards per game.

Once the final seconds ticked off the clock, FAU players raced across the field to put on the C-USA championship shirts and hats.

The game was held at FAU Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

With Win No. 10, FAU set the school's single-season victory mark, breaking the standard of nine set by the legendary Howard Schnellenberger's first team back in 2004. FAU went on to win 41-17 against North Texas for the C-USA Championship. The Owls followed Greg Joseph's 24-yard field goal on the opening drive with a little razzle dazzle for their first touchdown. Saturday afternoon in Boca Raton, they had 27 points and 382 yards... in the first half alone.

FAU was once again led by running back Devin "Motor" Singletary.

FAU redshirt junior quarterback Jason Driskel (16) makes a pass downfield looking for a player to score a touchdown.

It wasn't a ideal day for the Owls, however, as John Franklin III had a long touchdown run taken away after he Deshaun Jacksoned the moment.

The lead was extended to 34-0 when Woods caught a 54-yard pass from Driskel.
