New Portal Game Revealed

New Portal Game Revealed

The Windows, MacOS, Linux and smartphone versions all launch on December 20th, with the console versions (including Switch of course) coming in early 2018. Instead, the guys at Headup Games and Valve have come up with a great solution: Basically injecting a heaping helping of GLaDOS into Bridge Constructor [$1.99 / Free].

How underwhelmed are you by this? The game "blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories" and even features the iconic AI, GLaDOS.

The Portal series is one of Valve's most renowned new IP's that took the world by storm with its meticulous puzzles, fantastic plot, humorous writing and topped with a great story.

Bridge Constructor is a series that tasks players with-you guessed it-constructing bridges in order to move the flow of traffic from one end of the level to the other. The game is actually a spin-off of Bridge Constructor - a 2013 title that isn't a huge hit, but has its share of fans. Console versions will also be arriving next year.

How Portal came to be involved is now a mystery, and it seems as if news of the game was leaked early and this was actually meant to be an announcement at The Game Awards tomorrow. In case you're unfamiliar, Bridge Constructor is just what it sounds like - you build bridges that pass various challenges, blending physics manipulation with puzzle game elements.
