OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition announced; may be exclusive to India

OnePlus today unveiled a very interesting version of its 5T flagship smartphone - the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition. While the front of the device is black and the alert slider has a bright red color. As you would expect, there is also a Star Wars logo etched in red on the back.

The smartphone is expected to have special software, themes, wallpaper, and various Stars Wars sound effects possibly in celebration of the movie.

The notable differences between OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 is that the former runs on OyxgenOS 4.7.0 which is an improvement over OxygenOS 4.5 on the OnePlus 5.

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5T in all new Star Wars Limited Edition. As far as the release of the device goes, the only concrete detail we have at this time is the "Coming Soon" image, that has sparked lots of excitement and interest among Fans of all ages. While the company didn't announce the release date of the new variant, it's likely to come in line with release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie which is due for a December release.

OnePlus is expected to reveal the availability and pricing of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition sometime next week. OnePlus 5T will come in two variants, the first one with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage while the second variant will come with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

The OnePlus 5T sports Face Unlock feature which the company claims that it is based on advanced facial recognition system and also feature a fingerprint scanner at the back panel. The OnePlus 5T is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked up to 2.45GHz. It comes with 16 Megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor primary and 20 Megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor secondary rear camera with Dual LED flash. A 3300mAh battery with dash charging functionality supplies adequate power for the smartphone.
