R. Kelly's Atlanta mansions emptied out while he was on tour

Walker faces charges of burglary and theft by deception.

While on tour in New Orleans during Thanksgiving weekend, two of the singer's homes were broken into and almost emptied out, WXIA reports. She walked into Kelly's house and found it empty.

When investigators visited another of Kelly's residences in the city, they then found it had also been burglarized. Almost everything was taken. including furniture, electronics and other property.

According to reports, law enforcement is moving in on a suspect they believe played a key role in his homes getting burglarized around Thanksgiving while he toured in New Orleans. They told cops they'd been hired by one of Kelly's associates, Alfonso Walker, to sell everything because Kelly was moving his entire operation to Chicago.


R. Kelly's team revealed to authorities that Alfonso Walker was merely a part-time employee.

Johns Creek Police are searching for a man accused of stealing items from several homes rented by singer R. Kelly.

In interviews with police, Walker allegedly said he sold the items because he felt he was "owed" money from the singer.

"He would also like to thank all of his fans around the world for their love and support, as well as the community for being very cooperative", the spokesperson said".
