Rain Likely on Sunday, but Uncertain for Next Week

Rain Likely on Sunday, but Uncertain for Next Week

Some lingering sprinkles are possible throughout the day, but overall Sunday will be a fairly cloudy day. Chillier air behind the system knocks temperatures back into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.

Temperatures really warm up through the work week with morning lows in the 50s and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Rain will start to make it's way into our area throughout the morning hours and continue for us into the afternoon and early evening.

Overnight, temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to low 30s as the clouds increase as a stationary front sets up to our north and a low pressure system moves into the Deep South.

A chilly night on tap under mostly clear skies.

Fortunately, we get to enjoy the weekend's brightest and warmest come Saturday as we'll see plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 40s. Lows tonight drop to around 20 degrees.

A second disturbance will move in during the Monday/Tuesday period bringing us scattered rain chances those days as well.

We will have drier weather on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. The chance of a few rain and snow showers holds on into Monday. For the rest of the week we'll dry up and see partly cloudy skies, but we'll stay cold. Temperatures are tad milder in the lower 40s. There is a chance for showers during the day on Saturday and temperatures will be in the low 50s.

The Winter Solstice is on Thursday, December 21st at 11:28am.

Mostly sunny conditions return for the first half of next week beyond Sunday, with temperatures back in the 50s.
