Samsung Galaxy S9 May Come In These Colors

Samsung Galaxy S9 May Come In These Colors

If this is true, Galaxy X will set a new benchmark in the smartphone market, provided it wins the race to debut first, as arch-rival Apple is not too far behind and filed similar patent at United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) last month on November 23.

Samsung seems to be in a hurry to take the wraps off the Galaxy S9, and it's likely the device will be showcased at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas early next year.

While the official names of the colors have yet to surface, it is expected that Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Coral Blue will return for another year.

According to Sammobile, one of the colors the Samsung Galaxy S9 will come in is a purple variant. This time around, the news is about the possible color variants the next Samsung flagship will arrive in. The conference runs from February 26 to March 1 in 2018, so we'd expect the Galaxy S9 to be revealed on February 25, if Samsung sticks to tradition. The unveiling is said to be taking place at MWC 2018. Samsung has already said that the S8 will get Oreo within weeks from now and this is pretty quick when compared to previous update roll outs. The other small change could happen with the fingerprint scanner, which could be placed in a different area of the back. Rumors have also ruled out a fingerprint scanner in the screen, adding that the feature could come with the Galaxy Note 9.

There is no word yet on when the Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus will be made official, but reports have it that it will only be released to limited territories.

Even if the reports are wrong, we are glad to know that Samsung is reacting faster to Android updates.
