Star Wars Battlefront II now providing acceptable number of credits

Star Wars Battlefront II now providing acceptable number of credits

In recent times Star Wars Battlefront II has come under a lot of heat with the majority aimed at the microstransaction policy, which led to them being removed albeit temporarily.

Today, an update went live that includes some adjustments to the economy and progression. While not all are entirely happy with the changes as they don't address the rash of AFK grinders or the F2P elements like daily caps on progression in certain modes, but it's certainly a start. While EA says these are only the initial steps towards fixing the overall issues in Battlefront 2, the new updates seem to boil down to giving players more credits for completing activities.

Another change is that you can earn three times more credits in the offline Arcade mode. "We're upping the number of Credits you get for a match across the board, and specifically bumping the top players on each team by even more", the post noted.

Finally, EA promises that Daily Login Crates - rewards for, as you can probably guess from the name, logging in - will now provide more crafting parts than before, with the aim of hopefully allowing you to make more Star Cards than you were previously able to. And these are early steps towards much larger changes according to EA. You'll notice the change right away when you log in.

Star Wars Battlefront II was officially released on November 17, 2017, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. This will be especially useful for those who want to progress further and faster, as Star Cards are the necessary components to promote your characters' abilities, weapons and gear. Crait will debut in Galactic Assault mode, along with new vehicles and fighters featured in the film, such as the RZ-2 A-wing flown by pilot Tallie Lintra. In addition, Iden Versio will return in Star Wars Battlefront II Resurrection in all new chapters of the single player campaign set during the days of the First Order's rise to power.
