In terms of specifications, Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro features a 5.7-inch HD IPS display (just like its predecessor). But the Infinity Pro is offering no upgrade despite a hike in price could be met with disappointment. The Canvas Infinity Pro runs on Android Nougat OS and comes with 3000 mAh battery. Nearly a month ago, we have seen the leaked image of the retail box of the Canvas Infinity Pro revealing few key specifications. As per the manufacturer, the phone is symmetrically designed in a curve so in order to help achieve a better ergonomics and thus facilitate single hand usage. Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through MicroSD card. The battery gives a super Standby time of 420 hours, Music Playback of up to 22 hours and Video Playback of up to 6 hours. The Canvas Infinity Pro features dual cameras on the front to satisfy the never-ending demands for great selfies. With this improved camera arrangement on the front, the camera will now be able to capture Portrait Mode images that blur the background.


The connectivity features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Global Positioning System and USB OTG. Below the rear camera, there's a fingerprint scanner, which is rated to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds. The users can take screenshots that are up to 10 pages long at one go with the magic of three fingers. The device will be available on Flipkart, starting December 6.

Expanding its "Canvas Infinity" series, domestic smartphone maker Micromax on Monday launched "Canvas Infinity Pro" with edge-to-edge display and dual-selfie cameras for Rs 13,999.
