The report shared a info about the game release that soon Nintendo will announce Nintendo Direct Mini and Dark Souls Remastered will be part the announcement.

Nintendo also dropped a short CGI trailer for the upcoming Dark Souls Remastered at Nintendo Direct with a scheduled release date of 25th May 2018. The new Dark Souls remaster will include dynamic 4K resolution support on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, and will presumably feature upgraded textures and lighting.

Dark Souls was first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011 to widespread acclaim.

So far the only thing we know for sure is improved in Dark Souls Remastered is the framerate and resolution.

Later Kotaku reported that Dark Souls 1 Remastered will become today.

Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of information about Dark Souls: Remastered out there just yet. However, as of right now there's been no announcement concerning crossplay between platforms, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Even though the teaser doesn't show us any gameplay footage, it does give us an important detail by revealing a release date. Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch will mark the first time the franchise will appear on a Nintendo console (and the series' first portable entry).
