Amazon, Bharti Airtel join hands to offer Amazon Prime services

Airtel has partnered with Amazon India to offer free subscription of Amazon Prime for one year to Airtel postpaid users with Infinity plan of Rs 499 or above.

The offer is available only to Airtel postpaid customers on myInfinity plans priced Rs. 499 and above, and to V-Fiber broadband users on plans priced above Rs. 1,000.

Vijay Subramaniam, Director, Content, Amazon Prime Video India, said this exclusive offer enables the company to reach Airtel's customer base across the country.

Airtel postpaid users who have the myPlan Infinity Rs 499/- and above are eligible for the free subscription. By Amazon Prime Membership one can get way to access a number of TV serials, movies and much more according to the package without any additional cost. In both cases, 12 months of subscription to Amazon Prime is given for free, but there will only be 9 months left if the subscriber activates the free service in April. Since Amazon Prime's special introductory offer ended in India a year ago, its annual subscription now costs Rs 999.


Amazon Prime: What are the benefits? This means, this not only brings Airtel users subscription to Amazon Prime Video, but also buys them the Prime membership on Amazon.in for the next one year.

The Amazon Prime Offer is on the basis of Postpaid/Broadband bill plan of the customer. For details on eligible plans, customers can visit www.airtel.in/broadband. Infinity plans include large bundles of data and benefits such as unlimited local and STD calls, data rollover up to 200GB, and Airtel's device protection scheme.

The offer can be availed by new and existing Airtel postpaid customers. Open the Airtel TV app and click on the special Airtel - Amazon digital card (available only to eligible Airtel customers).

Users who are eligible will also be required to download the free Airtel TV app from either the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
