Bandai Namco Comments On Potential Discount For Dark Souls Remastered On PC

Players who are die hard fans of the original Dark Souls, or have not had a chance to experience the critically acclaimed ARPG masterpiece, will be pleased to know that Dark Souls: Remastered was just announced for later this year in the latest Nintendo Direct.

The 2008 Nintendo DS title - later re-released on iOS in 2012 - will be updated with HD visuals for the Switch release, using both Joy-Con and touchscreen controls.

Nintendo has been taking many bold moves lately and it seems to be paying off with Nintendo selling over 10 million Nintendo Switch consoles in 2017 with its flagship release game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild selling over four million copies alone.

The second mode is Find It, where players will attempt to find balloons hidden by other players. The sport title will be released this spring and promises to be a multiplayer go-to game, but with a single-player story mode too.

The World Ends With You: Final Remix will include the full original game as well as a new scenario.

Dark Souls Remastered will be released in the West on May 25, while the Dark Souls Trilogy Box will release a day earlier in Japan. Most likely, they are glad to find out about this today.

PC gamers might be able to pay about half as much, though.

It's also been announced for PS4 and Xbox One. New additions include Mew and Celebi.

Dark Souls Remastered will see the graphics improved to modern standards, allowing it to hit the maximum capabilities of the platform its being played on. Not only is he coming to Mario+Rabbids, his own outstanding Wii U game is also getting ported to the Switch.

Payday 2 (Feb 27) - We've known about this port for a while, but Payday 2 is now confirmed for a Switch release on February 27.
