Before the Storm is Getting a Physical Release

The boxed versions of the game will include the three episodes that have been released so far as well as a fourth episode called "Farewell" which lets players play as Max Caulfield for a final time.

Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange: Before the Storm's special bonus episode, titled Farewell, will release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, on March 6th. Both of these releases include all three episodes of Before the Storm along with the bonus Farewell episode. On March 6, 2018 there will be three separate versions of the game. The vinyl edition will include all of the above plus a vinyl set of the licensed soundtrack. Both Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle, the original voice actors from the first season of Life is unusual return to their respective roles as Chloe and Max now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is resolved. Or at least there are in America - the cheaper standard edition isn't listed on Square Enix UK's website, but maybe that's just meant for other stores.

Both countries will be getting the Vinyl Edition, whose difference is that it includes a physical vinyl soundtrack and a CD one as well, which explains the mark-up in cost, which is now £59.99 for the United Kingdom and $69.99 for the US. Players also receive three new outfits for Chloe (including the Hawt Dawg Man t-shirt) and the first episode of the first season of Life is unusual.

A Limited Edition that comes with the artbook and CD soundtrack from the Vinyl Edition will also be available, while pre-orders at selected retailers will also grant you a bonus Chloe and Rachel figurine (pictured below).
