Camila Cabello On Fifth Harmony's VMA Diss: 'It Definitely Hurt My Feelings'

I was just like, 'What? An 11-track LP which boasts of some of her most stellar works till date, the eponymous debut effort also features co-production from Skrillex on 'She Loves Control'.

"I just think she's going to have an incredible year, cause she's ... just so much fun", Elton said. Though she didn't intend to leave the group, the tensions surrounding her solo ambitions grew, and eventually, Cabello claimed, the others gave her an ultimatum.

Camila also hinted on Instagram that she meant to continue on as a member of Fifth Harmony right up until the moment she quit, so it's been a mystery why she finally chose to pull the plug and go solo.

Camila Cabello remembers Fifth Harmony's performance at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards and still is hurt by the not-so-subtle dig at her sudden departure.

"It definitely hurt my feelings", Cabello told NYT as she welled up with tears. "I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't prepared for it-especially because at that point I'd moved on from it". "I don't like holding onto the past, especially when it's stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty". So I'm relieved. I feel like I can just breathe now.

Shortly after midnight when it was released, Camila became the first debut album by a female artist to ever reach #1 on iTunes in 80 countries.
