Eden Hazard doesn't want Chelsea to sign a new striker

They were also linked to Burnley's Ashley Barnes as they look to add a centre forward to provide competition to misfiring Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi. We're very happy to have him here and we're happy that he's enjoying his football.

"It depends how you want to play".

With Alvaro Morata losing his scoring touch and Michy Batshuayi still not favoured by Conte, the Italian manager has made the signing of a striker the utmost priority. "I don't think we need another one".

'Football is simple - keep the ball on the ground and try (to play) like we did, ' he said.

'Because we are missing chances, people are saying we need another striker, but if we are scoring goals we are the best attack in the league and no one can say we need a striker. Apart from Roma striker Dzeko, Chelsea are also targeting his teammate, left back Emerson Palmieri.

Manchester City have Sergio Aguero and Hazard was quick to pick up on this, adding: "It's simple".

Hazard, meanwhile, wants the Blues to give up on their chase for a new frontman as they are already loaded in that department and they can always play him up front if need be.

Conte has altered his league winning 3-4-2-1 formation to shore up the midfield and play two strikers in a 3-1-4-2, similar to the way he had Italy playing in Euro 2016. Scoring two of Chelsea's four goals against Brighton, the Belgium worldwide has seen his efforts recognised by Gazzetta dello Sport. Hazard sticks all the boxes, and as Marca note, his father has hinted that he would be interested in making the move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Hazard is no stranger to the team, and has been named once again, given a good 8/10 rating.

"If you want to play with long balls you need a target man".

"When you see the second goal with Willian, it's one of the best of the season because we create movement with one touch, one touch, and then the finishing is good. The most important thing is that we are happy".
