Final Remix This Year

There's still much more information coming for The World Ends With You: Final Remix, such as a concrete release date for the game outside of TBA 2018.

And out of nowhere, Square Enix's Nintendo DS cult hit (released a solid decade ago) The World Ends With You is getting re-released on the Switch and will be available at some point in 2018. The original game is included in all its slippery, frozen glory with a brand-new novice mode that lets players take up the mantle of Funky Kong, a "groovy" new character who can hover, double jump, and use his surfboard to do a lot of cool tricks underwater.

The video shown lays out how the game is mapped to a single device, where both battle systems play out at once. The Switch version of Dark Souls will be include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC and will have improved frame rate and resolution. The base game will soon be available for the Switch along with its downloadable content "Artorias of the Abyss". Little is known about Nintendo's plans for its paid online service for the Switch, which promises to offer a selection of classic Nintendo games to subscribers.

The Switch version brings together both versions and adds outfits from Breath of the Wild for both Link and Zelda.

Super Mario Odyssey Nintendo announced an upcoming update for Super Mario Odyssey that will allow players to play as Luigi once players have ended the story. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be releasing on the Switch this Spring. The new edition will feature a story mode, as well as new layers to the series' core gameplay stylings.

With a time limit of seven days, Neku will team up with unlikely allies as the Game's stakes grow more and more deadly... With Luigi, players will have access to Balloon World mode, a competitive mode that will see players hiding balloons for other players to find.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will also be rereleasing for the Nintendo Switch. The game will be updated with a new character, Funky Kong. Take Yoshi for Nintendo Switch - it's had a placeholder "December 2018" in most places since its reveal at E3 2017, but if an Amazon Italy listing is to be believed we could getting it as early as June.
