Here's your early look at the Nokia 6 (2018)

HMD is launching a second generation of the Nokia 6.

Sadly, there is no any specific release date of this new Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone revealed by the giant for other markets yet.

It would, at present, be intriguing to perceive what HMD has in store.

Nokia's new handset lands as a successor to last year's first-generation Nokia 6, which generally scored well amongst tech reviewers. The device has a rear-mounted Fingerprint Scanner which is located at the back panel of the device underneath the camera setup.

The design has also been tweaked, with the fingerprint scanner moving to the back, navigation buttons being moved on-screen and the dimensions changing, as the Nokia 6 (2018) comes in at 148.8 x 75.8 x 8.25mm (or 8.6mm where the camera juts out). It sports the same 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Weighing 172 grams, the Nokia 6 (2018) has a metal body and it houses a 3000 mAh battery with the fast charging support. While the Nokia 6 was a good phone with the 5.5-inch display, that aspect has not changed here but the company has chose to change a few things with the design as well as with the internal specs. The Adreno 508 GPU will be capable of rendering better 3D graphics too. Similarly, an 8MP front camera is available with a wide-angle lens. The device. billed to be announced on the 5th, had all its details leaked by Chinese retail website Suning today, according to a report by Nokiamob. It also comes with Audio recording technology, and a "Bothie" photo mode. If that wasn't enough, the phone also allows for live broadcast of videos shot using Dual-Sight on to social media platforms like Facebook. The phone comes with fullHD resolution for rich user interface.

Nokia 8 (2018) doesn't feature an edge-to-edge display, which is quite common on mid-budget and flagship smartphones these days. The smartphone is priced starting at Yuan 1,499 (Rs 14,637 approx) for 32GB storage model and Yuan 1,699 (Rs 16,590 approx) for 64GB storage version. The smartphone is set to go on sale in China on January 10 with pre-orders going live now.

The latest version of the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The original Nokia 6 was launched in India in June 2016 following a global roll-out in February 2017.
