Jazz's Rodney Hood Gets Ejected Then Slaps Phone Out Of Fan's Hand

Have you ever had a day that went so bad that you wanted others to suffer, too?

Utah Jazz swingman Rodney Hood got ejected for * a href="" target="_blank" rel="noopener" *arguing with a referee on Wednesday night, and on the way back to the locker room he took his frustrations out on a totally innocent cell phone. Someone sitting courtside (I hesitate to describe him as a Jazz fan, and you'll see why in a second) tried filming Hood from mere inches away when the fourth-year pro did his Dikembe Mutombo impression on the phone. Nobody wants a new phone getting scratches.

Despite Hood's early exit, the Jazz were still able to pull through, going on a 9-0 run immediately following the ejection and eventually winning over the Wizards by a score of 107-104.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Harrison Barnes had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Yogi Ferrell made seven 3-pointers and scored 22 points and Dallas fended off fatigue to beat fresh Charlotte. He also went 1-for-5 from the three-point range. It was definitely a subpar performance from Hood, who is averaging 16.98 points per game so far this season.

Hood raised his right hand and slapped the device from the man's hand, sending it crashing to the ground.

Late in the third quarter with the game tied 74-74, Hood was called for his second technical foul of the game, and was immediately ejected.
