John Cena Joins New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoon

Perhaps even more interesting than that is that Cena will be bringing a live-action kids competition series back to Nickelodeon, something I don't think we've seen since the likes of Guts, Wild & Crazy Kids, or Double Dare. Cena hosted the Awards show past year, and will be returning in 2018.

The network and kids adore Cena so much that they've hired him full-time as the host of a new competition series called Keep It Spotless.

The WWE superstar is set to return as host of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards - celebrating kids' favorite movies, TV shows, artists and more pop culture moments.

Kids will have to stay clean in order to win major prizes. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will bow later this year.

Cena will play a villain named Baron Draxum in the upcoming 2D animated series Rise of the Ninja Turtles, which premieres later this year, as his brand continues to widen outside the WWE.

The ceremony of the Kids' Choice Awards 2018 will be held on March 24 at The Forum, an enclosure located in the Californian city of Inglewood, United States. Expect this character to be in a number of episodes since Draxum will be one of the show's recurring villains.

Cena joins an already impressive cast on the series that includes Ben Schwartz (DuckTales), Omar Miller (Ballers), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Brandon Mychal Smith (You're The Worst) and Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries)-who will lend her voice to the first African-American portrayal of April O'Neil. The series is produced by ITV Entertainment and Hard Nocks South, based on a United Kingdom format from Possessed.
