Jose Mourinho demands new deal for Manchester United ace Marouane Fellaini

Jose Mourinho is on the verge of a signing a new contract with Manchester United. Mourinho has already expressed his desire to keep the player at United and also made it clear to Fellaini as to how highly he rates him.

The Telegraph says United are still trying to persuade Fellaini to pen a new deal at Old Trafford.

Highlighting the Portuguese boss's ability to bond with his squads and enjoy the lighter moments, the clip shows Mourinho putting in a fierce tackle before going on a meandering run and toe-poking the ball into the bottom corner.

José Mourinho has signed a new contract at Manchester United. However, reports now suggest that Mourinho is happy with how his club has done everything they can to sign his preferred transfer targets, and is set to commit himself to a long-term contract.

And Shaw, speaking in an interview earlier this week, noted that he has never felt better since joining Man United.

"I think it is great to see the club and Jose Mourinho committing to continuing down this path", he said.

'It was really nice to be recognised by the fans in that game and from there I wanted to build on that performance and now it's been four or five full games I've had and I just want to kick on now.

Mourinho has been in the position for a little more than 18 months and has won the UEFA Europa League and the EFL Cup during that time span, encouraging belief he's the right man to take the club forward. And I knew when my chance would come I'd be ready.

They now sit second, 12 points behind local rivals Manchester City, and are in the Champions League last 16 and FA Cup fourth round.
